I felt this was important to clarify, since my username is GarterSnake508. While I do like snakes, I also like chickens, dragons, and hold a great passion for coding!
For years now, I have been coding games in Godot, some of which I have released on this page. My goal is to provide fun, free game experiences, often focused on humor or atmosphere. Outside of coding, I enjoy Linux, reading, and creative writing. I don't have a chicken, despite my love for the species, so alas, I must settle for digital fowl.
Here are a few suggestions to whet your appetite:
Skybird, if you have a mouse and enjoy combat-centered games
Inflation Issues, if you like the idea of 3D flappy bird and/or want to hear what my voice sounds like
HappyOS, if you enjoy creepy puzzles or computers
Rocky Road, if you are drawn to sandboxes or mountains
Deducktion, if you hold a penchant for platformers or duck bellies
Car Go Vroom and Car Go Vroom 2, if you desire something weird and nonsensical to do while you're bored (of all the games I've created, this game in particular happened to attain over half my total views... unfortunately)
Some of the games are better than others. Many, I have left up here as a demonstration of where my programming skills have progressed. Hence, the games further down the list may be disheveled and difficult. They do, however, represent my early coding, and can hopefully give companionship for when your own games feel themselves disheveled (which, trust me, are not anywhere near as bad as they might seem mid-development).
