The Book of the Dun Cow

Deep within the Earth lies a serpent. His name is Wyrm, and he seeks to destroy all that is good. Unbeknownst to the animals below, they have been put on Earth to defend their planet. Yet, through the vulnerable mind of a rooster, Wyrm begins to break his way out. Wyrm is escaping, and the animals must give their lives to defend their world. Based on the book, The Book of the Dun Cow, this itch.io game is a breathtaking 2d platformer which is now available on a pc.

Fight your way past enemies, gaining new powers and better abilities as you navigate through this role-playing metroidvania game! It is based off of the book, The Book of the Dun Cow and its sequel, The Book of Sorrows, and follows its plot.

HOW TO PLAY

Every day, you will get a player upgrade of your choice. You can click New Game to start from the beginning, or you can press Resume. From there, you must navigate the world, discovering power ups and unlocking new areas.
